Eyrie Chair

Bird’s nests are inventive pieces of natural architecture. As a designer who works with lots of natural materials, Floris Wubben has always been fascinated by these resourceful structures. The Eyrie Chair is an ode to these natural structures. The frame is made of branches, while the seating surface is made of steam-bent ash wood. The joints that connect the ash slats are made of ash pins and wood glue.
