Over Studio Floris Wubben

Studio Floris Wubben is een internationale designstudio in Haarlem, gespecialiseerd in keramisch design voor de galeriewereld. Onze stukken combineren ambacht, innovatie en esthetiek en worden wereldwijd gepresenteerd in toonaangevende galeries. Wij zoeken een Visual & Colour Designer die onze visuele identiteit versterkt en helpt onze creaties online en offline op een hoog niveau te presenteren.

Functieomschrijving

Als Visual & Colour Designer ben jij het creatieve oog van de studio. Je zorgt dat elk beeld, van productfotografie tot socialmediacontent, onze stijl en kwaliteit weerspiegelt. Daarnaast ontwikkel je frisse kleurconcepten voor nieuwe collecties en ontwerp je grafische uitingen die het merk een krachtige uitstraling geven.

Jouw kernverantwoordelijkheden

Productfotografie, inclusief selectie en nabewerking
Voorbereiden en publiceren van items op de website
Creëren en beheren van content voor Instagram en andere socialmediakanalen
Kleurontwikkeling, kleurmatching en kleurcorrecties
Grafisch ontwerp van presentaties en publicaties
Uitwerken van concepten en schrijven/redigeren van bijbehorende teksten
Meedenken en adviseren bij het ontwerpen van nieuwe ideeën

Wie wij zoeken

Creatief en visueel sterk, met oog voor detail
Afgeronde HBO-opleiding in een creatieve richting
Ervaring met productfotografie, website-items en socialmediacontent
Affiniteit met design en keramiek
Zowel schriftelijk sterk in Nederlands en Engels
Proactief, zelfstandig en communicatief vaardig
Gevoel voor kleur, materiaal en afwerking
Beschikbaar voor 3 tot 4 dagen per week (parttime)

Ervaring en vaardigheden

Ervaring in een creatieve studio, design- of productieomgeving
Affiniteit met materiaalkennis en productontwikkeling
Ervaring met documentatie, specificaties en kwaliteitscontrole
Goede communicatieve vaardigheden (schriftelijk en mondeling)
Kennis van Adobe Photoshop, InDesign en Illustrator is vereist

Studio Floris Wubben is an international design studio based in Haarlem, specialising in ceramic design within the world of collectable design. Our pieces combine craftsmanship, innovation, and aesthetics, and are presented worldwide in leading galleries. We are looking for a Visual & Colour Designer who will strengthen our visual identity and help present our creations at a high level, both online and offline.

Job Description

As a Visual & Colour Designer, you play a key role in shaping the studio’s visual language. You are responsible for maintaining a consistent and high-quality visual identity across photography, digital platforms, and graphic materials. Alongside this, you contribute to the development of colour concepts for new collections, ensuring that colour, material, and finish align seamlessly with the studio’s aesthetic and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Product photography, including selection and post-production
Preparing and publishing items on the website
Creating and managing content for Instagram and other social media channels
Colour development, colour matching, and colour correction
Graphic design for presentations and publications
Developing concepts and writing/editing accompanying texts
Contributing ideas and providing input in the design of new concepts

Who We Are Looking For

Creative and visually strong, with a keen eye for detail
Completed HBO-level education in a creative field
Experience with product photography, website content, and social media
Affinity with design and ceramics
Strong written communication skills in both Dutch and English
Proactive, independent, and communicatively skilled
Strong sense of colour, material, and finishing
Available 3 to 4 days per week (part-time)

Experience & Skills

Experience in a creative studio, design, or production environment
Affinity with material knowledge and product development
Experience with documentation, specifications, and quality control
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is required
