Twelve Forty Chair

Twelve Forty Chair
The 1240 Chair pushes the structural boundaries of ceramics by reimagining a construction technique typically used in timber joinery. The click method is adapted here to securely connect ceramic components, demonstrating both innovation and strength. Despite its delicate appearance, the chair is remarkably sturdy, thanks to its hard stoneware construction, fired at 1240°C, and the assembly method. It is available in two models: one made entirely of solid ceramics and another that combines ceramics with ash wood.
