1240 degrees: that is the temperature at which this stoneware object is baked in the oven. In designing this lounge chair, Floris Wubben pushed ceramics to its structural limits. He discovered that the click method used in timber joints also works to hold ceramic components together. Some people are afraid to sit on the chair, but it is strong. There are two models: one of solid ceramics and one combined.
