There are pieces of furniture that fill a room, and then there are pieces that anchor an entire experience. We are incredibly proud to present the Duke Table, a monumental 3.80-meter ceramic statement piece that represents the prime of our studio’s craftsmanship and ambition.
Creating a ceramic piece of this scale is a formidable technical challenge, requiring a delicate balance of artistry and engineering. Every inch of the Duke Table was formed by hand and with help of our extruder machines, reflecting the beauty and finished with an almost marble look. To give the piece its distinct character, we finished it in our bespoke "Nimbus" glaze. Developed entirely in-house after countless hours of testing and refinement, the Nimbus glaze captures a stormy, ethereal elegance that interacts beautifully with the light, making this colossal table feel remarkably fluid and alive.
A Home at 40 Duke
Today, the Duke Table has found its permanent home at 40 Duke Street, sitting at the very heart of the newly evolved Personal Shopping experience at Selfridges in London. This visionary space was conceived not just as a retail destination, but as a hub for social exchange, conversation, and curated style. Our table serves as the gathering point for this energy, a tactile, grounding foundation amidst the world's most luxurious garments and accessories.
